The Terry Fox Run that was held last Sunday morning at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa (TTT) was a total blast. It was the biggest event I've attended and I felt good about it being held each and every year in Malaysia. That's one of the many ways to give back to the society and to give to those who might need the contribution.
So, the event was a simple 4 km run in the TTT area by the lakeside. Lucky us, the weather on Sunday morning was so lovely. And it's a free-style run as you can walk, jog, run, cycle, skate or even rollerblade (wah so cool all the rollerbladers!). You can wear your office attire, pyjama (I even saw people wearing kain batik/pelikat while running!) or if you feel like you want to be part of the group, you can buy the Terry Fox Run annual t-shirt for just RM25! So cheap and you got to donate too :)
Part of the crowd on a beautiful Sunday morning (and left their comfy beds at home).
Part of the team from the Scomi's Young Engineers Programme :)
Scomi clan! Ramai dah balik when they took this picture.
I would love to put on my skates for the next event :). What say you? And for the next-next (maybe even next-next) event, we are planning to bring our new family members with us *wink*wink* hehe :)
